Litigation deadlines vary dependant on the complexity of the matter and also the Court timetable that has been agreed. Ordinarily we aim for matters to settle outside of the Court, in order to save you time and costs, however if the matter does proceed to Court- commencement to completion could take between 1 year – 2 years if the matter is straightforward, however for complex matters the matter could take up to 3 years.

Factors that could increase or decrease overall costs include the matter becoming complex as further disclosure documents are investigated, the matter having a counter claim or another party being brought into the proceedings.
